Dear Friends,
First, we want to thank you for your past financial support.
As you are aware our only sources of revenue are plot sales, investment income and your
generous donations.
All our revenue sources are dedicated to mowing, general maintenance and repairs, and
administrative costs. These include, but are not limited to tree pruning and removal,
monument repair, fence and driveway upkeep. These projects are never ending and the
costs seem ever increasing.
Aside from mowing, your Board of Trustees performs many ordinary repair and
maintenance projects on a volunteer basis. Professional services are only contracted when
absolutely necessary. Our annual mowing cost alone is now $17,000.
More significantly, in the past 24 months, we resurfaced the driveway and painted the
entire wrought iron fence at considerable cost. Both of these projects were supported by
your generous donations.
Barring a significant windstorm resulting in tree damage and costly removal, your
Trustees wish to make a more concentrated effort in the coming months to repair damaged
monuments. This typically involves replacing the foundation under the monument itself.
This process is contracted out to local monument companies due to their expertise and
having the proper equipment to move the monument without damage. The cost varies, but
generally ranges from $200 to $500 per monument.
The Board of Trustees works very hard to invest our funds prudently and to spend the
income wisely. We appeal for your continued support knowing that you have strong
feelings for the wellbeing and upkeep of the cemetery. The WWCA is a 501(c)(3) Not-For-
Profit Corporation under the Internal Revenue Code. Your donations are tax deductible to
the fullest extent allowed by law.
Donations or inquiries may be mailed to us at the above noted address.
Thanks again for your past and continued financial support!
